There is the possibility to choose from more than 50 elective modules from computer science, biology, mathematics, chemistry, medicine, and biophysics, in order to specalize in one or two research directions or to learn more about the various application disciplines of Bioinformatics. Study abroad is explicitly supported. Moreover, soft-skills, for example teaching a tutorial, advising students in a mentoring program and writing a research grant proposal will be acquired. The study finishes with a Master thesis.
