Course Overview

As a graduate of the master degree, you may find employment in the land boundary (cadastral) and engineering surveying areas. As a student enrolling in the master degree, you will be eligible to enter into an agreement with the Surveyors Board of South Australia to undertake training in cadastral surveying, which will lead to formal licensing by the Board Graduates of this program will be eligible for membership of the Spatial Sciences Institute (SSI), and after a period of employment will be eligible to apply for general certification as a Practising Spatial Scientist. Further study and work experience may lead to certification as a specialist in one of the six commissions of the SSI. An exit point is available at the successful completion of first year with the award of Graduate Diploma in Surveying.
