Course Overview

This program focuses on the systematic analysis of public policy issues and decision processes. Includes instruction in the role of economic and political factors in public decision-making and policy formulation, microeconomic analysis of policy issues, resource allocation and decision modeling, cost/benefit analysis, statistical methods, and applications to specific public policy topics. You may want to consider this School of Communications, Media, Arts and Design program if you have previously completed post-secondary education, possess strong writing skills and have the ability to manage various projects at the same time. This program is offered at the Story Arts Centre in Toronto. There is also an option to take this program at the Pickering Learning Site. You complete a full-time, eight-week field placement in the industry.
