Course Overview

Cyberattacks, weapons proliferation, drones, climate change, and energy security, are just a few of the science and technology-related security issues that affect the security of the United States and the world today. The Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Science, Technology, and International Security brings together courses from many different disciplines into a highly customizable program. Our goal is to help students excel and advance in their careers by helping them gain an understanding of how science and technology issues play in the security realms of defense, diplomacy, and intelligence. This program is useful for students who are interested in science and technology in a national security or international security context but who come from a social science or humanities background. This program is also useful for students with an established background in a science or technology field who wish to make themselves more marketable in the national security or international security field.
