Course Overview

The study is geared towards discussing the innovations made in sport sciences in regard to current needs and to the transfer of the scientific results to practice. The four semester Masters program offers a specialized understanding of sport sciences at an advanced level. It begins with a welcome period, during which students are introduced to the course and beautiful city of Konstanz. In addition to some obligatory generic subjects (e.g. project management, research methodology, academic writing, etc.) students specialize in one of three profiles: Training and Testing, Sport and Health, Sport and Movement. Why study Sport Science at Konstanz? Studying at the University of Konstanz means living and learning at campus university in highly attractive surroundings. The university is located directly on the shores of Lake Constance at the intersection of Europe, Switzerland and Austria in one of the most beautiful regions of Germany. While aquatic sports are particularly attractive in the summer months, the winter months offer the chance to explore the neighboring Swiss and Austrian Alps for alpine sports activities.
