Online Courses for Master of Laws (LLM)

The LLM (or ML in some cases) is an internationally recognised postgraduate law degree. It is a common choice amongst those who wish to qualify as professional lawyers. It allows those with an interest in the law to acquire advanced training in a specific area of legal knowledge – such as civil law, or commercial law – and therefore it is highly sought-after by employers. It also equips legal professionals to work internationally. Although many students of the LLM have completed an undergraduate degree in law, many others have a background in a related undergraduate field – such as History or Literature. Not all LLM students necessarily wish to continue into legal practice – it is a common route into academic research in the field of jurisprudence.
