Online Courses for Human Medicine

Medicine is a professional subject that deals with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of injury, and other illnesses. Requiring an extensive, applied understanding of human physiology, biochemistry, and psychology, as well as a host of manual and personal skills, formal medical training requires lengthy study and training. Although many students choose to read Medicine at undergraduate level as a route to qualifying as a practicing physician, it is possible to enter formal medical training as a graduate student. Graduate Medicine, also known as Human Medicine (MBBS), usually requires an academic background (BSc or PhD) in a related natural scientific field – such as Biology or Chemistry. It is much longer than other Masters degrees, normally taking up to 5 years, after which time you will be fully qualified as a medical doctor.
