Climate Studies & Meteorology

Climate Studies and Meteorology is concerned with the understanding of how the Earth’s atmosphere, oceans and land surfaces influence changes to our environment With a Master’s in Climate Studies or Meteorology (M.Sc) students will learn climate modelling and prediction, the role of principal wind and ocean current systems, and how these interact with the land surface to influence weather. Students will gain skills in all the main branches of atmospheric science, including atmospheric physics, meteorology, atmospheric chemistry and climatology. Graduates of climate studies or meteorology have many employment opportunities, including energy production, military, agriculture, transport and constructions. Becoming weather forecasters or broadcast meteorologists is one of the most common options.
