Full Time Courses for Archaeology

Archaeology is the study of people and culture through analysing the artefacts and materials they left behind. Master’s students will demystify the past, and will challenge preconceived notions of our ancestors’ lives. In this way, graduate students will better understand the society we live in today. A Master’s in Archaeology (MA) will focus on ancient cultures and civilizations through excavation, research, and theory. Graduate students will gain insight into the cultural, political, and historical fabric of the prehistoric world. Archaeology students will be able to specialize in one of the three major branches; historical archaeology, ethno-archaeology, or experimental archaeology. Master’s Anthropology graduates usually go onto become museum curators, archivists, cartographers, heritage managers or anthropologists.
