Econometrics is a study field that applies statistical methods and mathematical techniques to data to explain phenomena and create models. A Master’s Degree in Econometrics allows students to use econometric techniques either to perform empirical checks on specific economic models or as tools for forecasting and policy evaluation. It provides students with an advanced understanding of econometric theories and empirical research and develops students' powers of inquiry, critical analysis, and logical thinking and independent learning.
