General Studies is a flexible interdisciplinary field, whereby students choose their own path of study. Students can choose to specialize in a number of disciplines, such as literature, philosophy, psychology, science, music, anthropology, visual arts, and much more. A Master’s in General Studies and Classics will trace the mutations and transformations of different fields from classical antiquity to present day. General Studies and Classics students are able to critically engage with, analyse and connect many different topics and themes, and thus, fine-tune transferrable skills that are particularly desirable to employers. The flexibility of a MA degree in General Studies and Classics will allow students to go into a wide range of careers; from academia, to banking, to management, to writing, to politics.
