Translation and interpreting is the conversion of written or spoken content from one language to another. In this globalised world that we live in, communication between different languages is becoming increasingly important. A Masters in translation (in most cases an MA) will provide the tools to analyse and interpret documents and text, while the interpreting side of the degree will help with oral translation and sign language. This degree will draw on various disciplines such as literature, linguistics and cultural studies. With a masters degree in translation and interpreting, graduates can go onto become editors, language analysts, broadcast journalists, while travelling the world and meeting new people.
